Mental Toughness won’t win you a championship. However, a lack of Mental Toughness will lose it for you.
My passion is working with athletes – corporate athletes, executive athletes, professional athletes, and collegiate athletes. See, we think EVERYONE is an athlete, Our offices are just different.
The question begs, what does your championship look like?
Does Mental Toughness for you mean having more patience, or persistence, or being able to let go of mistakes?
Unfortunately, When it’s all said and done, more is said than done… and that is true when actually training your own Mental Toughness. We often just like to talk about the mental game instead of taking action. But, that’s because there was NO PLAN in place.
Mental Toughness coaching means performing your best when it matters the most AND dealing with the adversity and setbacks that we all will face. If performance is important in your life, then both of these are inevitable, so it is not a matter of “if”, but “when” mental toughness is needed.
The odd thing is that many people don’t actually need to be mentally tough in today’s society. People can be comfortable on the sidelines. I’m not sure about you, but we just survive in mediocrity, not thrive. Our goal is to be the BEST at getting BETTER. That’s what mental toughness coaching is about.
